Ever since I started attending Western Carolina University, nestled in the Appalachin mountains of North Carolina (Not West Carolina... ask me how many times people have asked me about West Carolina, hahhah) I have started listening to mountain music. Like the bluegrass stuff I guess you could say. Although I despise country, this music is different. It was music born and bred in the mountains.
I also adore the Cold Mountain soundtrack. I live like 30 minutes from the REAL Cold Mountain when I'm at school. Awesome huh?
What music do you appreciate?
