Stephen King because I love his writing and he's the best at writing horror novels.
Chuck Palahniuk is also good and I have the majority of his books, so two favorite authors for me.

Hmmm I dunno actually, I'm a big Potter kid, So I'll throw in JK Rowling, but I also adore CS Lewis and Tolkien.

Eh, it's alright. Her best-known book is The Joy Luck Club. I love it, but I wouldn't necessarily expect a guy to because some of its themes are about womanhood and mother-daughter relationships, etc.
